Be straight up with me.
I don’t give a fuck if you hurt my feelings, just do it. To be honest, I’ll be even more hurt if you don’t tell me since you think that I can’t handle the truth in the first place. I don’t want you to sugarcoat every little detail and make me read between the lines. I have too many people like that in my life already and I hate it. Even if I don’t listen to you, I still want to know what’s up. Be real with me, I’ll get over it.
Eventually the fast text message responses will become slow. The long conversation will cut short. The attention they give you will become neglected. The comfort they give you will become something awkward. The time they have for you will become non existent. The feeling of being close to them will become distant.

I always read the messages and then I set my phone down and forget about it. If I text you 24/7 you must be pretty freaking special.
